The Ultimate Christmas Quiz at the UCS Beyond Words Festival 2009
Well I survived the What is Myrrh Anyway? Ultimate Christmas Quiz experience at the UCS Beyond Words Festival and sold a few more books, which is always nice. It just remains for me to thank Martin Hitchcock and his able assistants Sophia, Katie, Hal and Ian, for all their help and for making me feel so welcome, and Najma of Icon Books for arranging the session.

Hi jon i am a old french fan of ff books and i think that you are the real successor ofsteve jackson and ian livingstone.i just wanted to humbly propose to you two original ideas of scenario for ff adventures .the first one would be to play the trainer or the captain of a blod bowl style team to lead it on the way of victory because sport has never been used in ff adventures. the second one would take place in a terrible jail in which the hero would have been imprisoned and he will have to escape from it. here is two humble ideas of scenario and i wanted to know what you think about that.who knows ? may be two brand new ff adventures.good by to you jon and well done for your excellent job.
Hi Kinor
Thanks for the ideas. I do actually have an idea alerady for an adventure which starts with you having to break out of a maximum security prison before you can complete the task ahead of you. Perhaps one day it will see print.
The other idea sounds intriguing too, although it might work better if it was actually a Warhammer Blood Bowl story.
Thank you for your fast answer jon.i was also wondering if you could write the follow up of the great "midnight rogue" (although it was not very difficult to finish) which was the only contribution of graeme davis to ff adventures and that you are the only one who continued writing for this serial. Nothing against follow ups jon ?
Hi jon this is kinor again. I just wanted to know if steve jackson, who wrote only 5 ff adventures, 4 of them being ones of the best ever written, and "starship traveller" may be the worst one ! , intended to write a brand new ff adventure. Do you have any information about that ? Thanks a lot jon and keep writing for our greatest pleasure !
Hi jon. For imformation , among the 7 ff books you wrote , which is your favourite one ?
A follow-up to Midnight Rogue, eh?
I have to confess that idea had never crossed my mind until now.
I liked MR's take on Port Blacksand, but it's kind of been followed up already in the AFF book Blacksand!
So I think, probably not...
Hi again
I'm afraid I don't know if Steve's planning on writing another gamebook at the moment.
I've heard a rumour thought that Ian Livingstone might...
My favourite Jon Green FF adventure? Ooh - that's hard...
Spellbreaker will always have a special place in my heart because it was my first.
I'm really proud of Howl of the Werewolf, but then I also love the setting and style of Stormslayer and had great fun with Night of the Necromancer.
Whenever people ask me which of my books is my favourite, I usually answer 'The next one' but that doesn't really apply to my FF books at the moment...
Sorry to be so vague...
Another question jon. What is your favourite ff books excluding of course the ones you wrote ? Did you read/played all the ff books ? Thanks.
