Today I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Tanith Lee.I was fortunate enough to meet Tanith at a Kitschies event back in 2012. Like many fantasy writers, I was influenced by her work, particularly Reigning Cats and Dogs.
In 2013 I had the even greater honour of appearing in an anthology of short stories in honour of David Gemmell alongside her.
So tonight I'll be raising a glass to a talent gone too soon and I think of her family and friends and all those who'll miss her.
