But hasn't the TARDIS always been Steampunk? Discuss.
"The modern master of the gamebook format" (Rob Sanders)... "Can do dark very well" (Jonathan Oliver)... "Green gets mileage out of his monsters" (SFX Magazine)... "It takes a firm editorial hand and a keen understanding of the tone of each piece to make a collection this diverse work, and Green makes it look effortless" (Starburst Magazine)... Man that's an ugly picture...
Perhaps it has from an ideological viewpoint, but aesthetically, perhaps not. It doesn't fit the visual notion of what mainstream Steampunk fans expect from their über-Victorian contraptions. I myself look at the common magnet and see Steampunk - there is some messed up voodoo magic in them that even when it is explained still shocks my Victorian sensibilities.
