UK Games Expo 2025

I am at the UK Games Expo at the NEC all weekend, from Friday 30th May - Sunday 1st June 2025. You will find me at Stand 2-359 in Hall 2.

This will be the first time you can buy my new Arkham Horror Investigators Gamebook The Tides of Innsmouth.

2025 marks 10 years since the publication of the first ACE Gamebook, Alice's Nightmare in Wonderland, and I will have copies of all eight adventures that are currently in print with me.

I will also have copies of my ACE Gamebook Roleplay RPGs for sale, including The Box of Delights RPG, not to mention copies of YOU ARE THE HERO and MAGIC REALMS.

Gamebook Friday: JG interviewed on Rand Roll

Gamebook Friday: Shakespeare Vs. Cthulhu

The crowdfunding campaign to fund Shakespeare Vs. Cthulhu: What Dreams May Come concluded one year ago today. Thanks to Stretch Goal #1 being unlocked during the campaign, everyone who has backed to receive a physical copy of the book will also receive a pack of five postcards featuring Heraldo Mussolini's artwork.

If you visit Shakespeare's Birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon, you can pick up postcards featuring extracts from the 1623 First Folio edition of Shakespeare's works enhanced by woodcut images printed from original blocks by Louisa Hare.

I wanted to pay homage to the First Folio postcards in Shakespeare Vs. Cthulhu: What Dreams May Come, and so Heraldo has produced a stylised woodcut illustration for each Act of the adventure, and it is these images that will be printed on the five postcards. Here's the one for Act 3 - Full Fathom Five.

The crowdfunding campaign to publish the Spanish translation of Dracula: Curse of the Vampire is well underway and has already surpassed its funding goal.

Two Stretch Goals have been unlocked so far, to produce some 'blood'-filled dice and a deck of foil playing cards.

The book hits all the right notes, the smells, the rot, the people, the darkness. This is the third Gamebook I have read by Jonathan Green, and I really enjoy how he sets up both the adventures, and has the writing chops to back it up. Highly recommended both for the tale, and the gameplay.
