I've just discovered that as part of their digital initiative, Black Library are releasing the individual stories from the forthcoming Victories of the Space Marines anthology as separate eBooks.
This means you can pick up 10,000 words of Imperial Fists goodness for the measly sum of £1.50 (that's for less than half a pint of beer) for your preferred eBook reader.
I think this is a great step forward. Readers can pick up stories by their favourite authors, about their favourite armies or characters, or try out a new writer, without having to commit to buying the whole book.
You'll find the eBook of But Dust in the Wind here, while you can order your copy of Victories of the Space Marines here.
"The modern master of the gamebook format" (Rob Sanders)... "Can do dark very well" (Jonathan Oliver)... "Green gets mileage out of his monsters" (SFX Magazine)... "It takes a firm editorial hand and a keen understanding of the tone of each piece to make a collection this diverse work, and Green makes it look effortless" (Starburst Magazine)... "A charming blend of camp creatures, humour, and genuine horror" (Set the Tape)
