If you've ever thought, "Oh I'd love to play one of Tin Man Games' Gamebook Adventure" but haven't been able to because you don't ownan Apple iOS device or an Android phone or tablet, then you'll be pleased to hear that the Gamebook Adventures series is becoming available for Mac and PC.
So far, only the first title - An Assassin in Orlandes - has been released, but the others are on their way, so it can only be a matter of time before all you smartphone-less gamebook fans can enjoy Temple of the Spider God whilst sitting at your family computer.
(Of course, when Temple of the Spider God does become available for Mac and PC, you can be sure I'll make a big old song and dance about it.)
"The modern master of the gamebook format" (Rob Sanders)... "Can do dark very well" (Jonathan Oliver)... "Green gets mileage out of his monsters" (SFX Magazine)... "It takes a firm editorial hand and a keen understanding of the tone of each piece to make a collection this diverse work, and Green makes it look effortless" (Starburst Magazine)... "A charming blend of camp creatures, humour, and genuine horror" (Set the Tape)

Having not yet entered the 21st Century (my mobile phone was made in 1999 and still works fine thank you) I have been hoping someone would take pity on those of us who are missing out.
Thanks for the good news Jonathan, I've signed up to Desura and purchased the Assassins gamebook. It looks great on the computer screen. I'm very much looking forward to Temple of the Spider God becoming available.
