Thought for the Day

"A good editor is part shrink, part bullying older sibling, part sycophantic fan, and part Santa Claus."

~ Si Spencer, writer and sometime editor

Here's what people have been saying about my books...

"Green deserves 10/10." - The Independent

"As welcome as a warm glass of mulled wine on a wintry night, Green's guide to Christmas enhances the pleasures of the festive season, offering a witty cornucopia of Christmas facts and folklore." - The Good Book Guide

"As usual, author Jonathan Green gets mileage out of his monsters, with big action set-pieces that read like Things We'd Like to See in a rip-roaring summer movie if the creature effects were good enough." - SFX Magazine

"Every page is infected with a wonderful sense of joy." - Pornokitsch

"Pure, undiluted steampunk fantasy at its finest." - Mass Movement Magazine

"Green's enthusiasm for the subject matter is evident on every page." - The Eloquent Page

"Rip-roaring old-school adventure!" - Total Sci-Fi Online

"Jon Green's books are very beautifully and richly written - the prose and the world-building are first class." - The Unofficial Fighting Fantasy Forum

"There's time travel, evil Nazis, characters 'borrowed' from various other works all bound together with lashings of swash-buckle and high-jinx. Much dark fun." - The SFRevu
